Custom kitchen and wardrobe

Peder and Emilie wanted a kitchen with beautiful custom details in their new apartment at Lindern while preserving as much of their existing IKEA kitchen as possible. The result is a blend of IKEA cabinets, new fronts in Valchromat that Peder and Emilie crafted themselves, and many beautiful oak details. We collaborated to find the best way to reuse and relocate their existing kitchen modules and transform their entryway with a partially open, partially closed wardrobe that feels naturally connected to the kitchen.

By incorporating fluted glass into the design, you get surfaces that are both elegant and intriguing, while also concealing clutter.

The kitchen cabinets and open shelves have integrated lighting to provide good task lighting over the countertop.

At the end of the kitchen, we created a small island that connects the wardrobe and kitchen while providing a nice countertop surface extending into the dining area.
