New Kitchen Plan
Children's Room
The Entryway
Project Detail:
The client moved from an apartment in the city center to this cozy 1960s house and wanted to adapt it to their lifestyle as a family of four. We developed a warm color palette featuring various shades of pink on the walls, oak for the kitchen and furniture, terrazzo in the entryway, and touches of blue, yellow, and purple in the children's rooms.
We created a brand-new, much more functional kitchen, redesigned the entryway, custom-made several pieces of furniture, designed new lighting plans, and guided the client in selecting a new fireplace.
new kitchen plan
With our new kitchen plan, the client was able to order their new kitchen from Kvik, which we complemented with custom-made elements. A custom shelf at the end of the tall cabinets creates a striking focal point instead of a plain side panel. The shelf above the kitchen counter was also specially designed by us.

the entryway
In the entryway, we were inspired by the old Shaker style, where long peg rails were used to hang everything from chairs to candlesticks on the wall. The beauty of this concept is that you can create hooks at both adult- and child-friendly heights in an aesthetically pleasing way. Additionally, the entryway features a bench with shoe racks, a hat shelf, a wardrobe, and small storage solutions for keys and other items.
